DIN 459-1 defines the nominal capacity as the technical parameter. Nominal capacity = volume of the fresh concrete produced in one working cycle and in compacted condition (compaction rate 1.45). If the mixer size is specified together with dry fill quantity, the following rule applies:
Dry fill quantity = nominal capacity x 1.5 Basic unit, for concrete discharge approx 1.80 - 2.50 m, consisting of mixing platform with substructure, expandable with attachments to approx 4.0 m with all stairs and platforms in compliance with the accident prevention regulations. compressed-air plant for supply of all other components of the mixing plant ready-for-use.
